CKABC is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer driven organization. The 2025-2026 board is made up of parents that have student athletes that represent almost all of our sports teams!

St. Johns Schools do not receive any money from the county to support our athletic programs. What that means is that all our high schools rely on pay to play fees and our athletic booster clubs to support our coaches, our athletes and our athletic departments.  

FIVE reasons why you and your student athlete families should support the CKABC:

1.The Booster Bucks program gives money to coaches based on team Booster membership numbers. 

2.Booster funds provides scholarships for seniors. In 2025 we provide $4,000 to four of our athletes!

3.Booster funds support CHS Athletic Department capital projects, operations and equipment purchases. Booster funds have supported:

• Lacrosse wall
• New uniforms for the Shining Knights Cheer Squad
• Replacing the speakers in the gymnasium in 2020
• Replacing the outdoor stadium digital scoreboard in 2020
• Purchasing a golf cart for our Athletic trainer in 2023
• Replacing the indoor gymnasium digital scoreboard in 2024
• Purchasing a tv for the gym concessions area in 2024, and
• Improving several throwing areas for our track and field athletes in 2024 to name a few.

4.Booster funds cover team state championship costs. So far in 2025-26 we have paid $8,284 to our fall sports teams who made it into the post season. 

5.Booster Mini-Grant program allows coaches to apply for funds to support their teams’ specific needs. So far in 2025-26 we have awarded $3,524 to the golf, dance, weightlifting, and swim teams.
